Location: Ridge Historical Society, 10621 S. Seeley Ave.

RHS will present "Saving A House Of The Future" featuring Beverly resident Chris Lichtenfeld, restorer of the historical Armco-Ferro House, a seemingly structureless house that boasts a revolutionary construction system of corrugated steel panels that are clipped together resembling a cardboard box. The panels are covered with a porcelain-enamel coating.

The house, designed by Architect Robert Smith, Jr., was displayed during the 1933 Chicago World
