The late Robert C. Antonides, longtime head coach of the Morgan Park High School football team, is slated for induction into the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

He is among the 20 honorees in the Class of 2007 who will be recognized for their accomplishments during a luncheon Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Champaign.

Antonides, who coached at Morgan Park from 1929 to 1960, logged a career record of 135-69-20 (including the 1932 city championship). He died in 1994.
