Ridge Run

The Beverly Area Planning Association's 31st Annual Ridge Run kicks off on Memorial Day, Mon., May 26, with its new 10K course introduced last year and certified by USA Track and Field.
Runners have until Sun., May 25 to register for $30 for the 10K or 5K, and $15 for the Youth Mile. On race day, the fees go up by $5. Register online at www.bapa.org or at Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Dr.
May 21-23, noon to 7 p.m.; May 24, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or May 25, 2 to 5 p.m. Race day registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and will be held until a half hour prior to each race.
The 10K run begins at 8 a.m., the youth mile for children ages 6 through 12 begin at 8:10 a.m., and the 5K run/walk begins at 9:30 a.m. All races will start and finish also at Ridge Park.
