Location: Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St.

The 1987 hit movie bursts on-stage in this vibrant, tuneful, funny and touching musical staged by the Beverly Theatre Guild. Three performances are scheduled - 8 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

When frustrated adolescent Josh wishes he were "big" and wakes up the next morning a 30 year-old man, he discovers there is much more to being an adult than he had bargained for-and learns we must all grow up at our own pace, in our own time.

A witty, moving, insightful book and a dazzling, energetic, heartfelt, contemporary score makes this already-classic motion picture fantasy into an unforgettable theatrical experience for all ages.

Tickets cost $20 or $17 for groups of 17 or more.

For more information call 773-445-3838 or visit the Beverly Arts Center.
