String students perform at Arts Center

Location: Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St.
Young string students from area schools will perform popular movie themes during their spring concert.
Students in the acclaimed Judy Lei Strings program at the Beverly Arts Center will be joined by children who also study with Lei at St. John Fisher, Christ the King, St. Barnabas, St. Catherine, St. Louis de Montefort and St. Bernadette schools. They are in kindergarten through 8th grade.
The young musicians will perform themes from "Pirates of the Caribbean", the Indiana Jones movies, "Star Wars" and other popular films, as well as movie standards such as "Moon River".
Admission to the concert is free.
Registration is now open for the summer session of the Beverly Arts Center School of the Arts, which includes Violin I and II with Judy Lei Strings, as well as more than 100 classes in keyboard, guitar, voice and bagpipes, and a variety of other arts disciplines.
