"Caveman" returns to the BAC Submitted by Michael Fielding on Wed, 10/10/2007 - 10:33am.

"Defending the Caveman," comedian Rob Becker’s prehistoric look at the battle of the sexes, will return to the Beverly Arts Center for a one-night encore performance Oct. 13. Chicago actor Tyler Bohne will star as the Caveman.

Bohne brought the record-holding show to the BAC in June for a couple highly popular performances. To read the Southwest Observer’s review of the performance, click here.

Although he has performed in everything from “Jesus Christ Superstar” to “The Crucible,” comedy is a favorite vehicle for Bohne, and he has found a real crowd pleaser in “Defending the Caveman.” A strong comedic, dramatic, and character actor, Bohne also performs as a singer, storyteller and improviser.

“Defending the Caveman” goes straight to the funny bone in its comic look at the differences in how men and women look at just about everything, but somehow manage to like it that way. The show played for two years on Broadway and is an international hit with productions in 30 countries including Canada, South Africa, Iceland and Germany.
