Kedzie Ave. Cookie and Peggy,(Mother and Daughter "In Laws" to each other)have created a wonderful little shop that you will never want to escape from! Cookie prepares her famous chicken noodle soup everyday and other delectable styles on a rotating basis. There are tasty salads and a unique variety of fresh made hot and cold sandwiches. I had a yummy vanilla cupcake with purple butter cream icing, my daughter had a double chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter center and rich dark chocolate icing. They have a wonderful variety of unique cupcakes in mini and regular size. I can't wait to try the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing!
